Patsy Cline Block Party

Join Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. and the Patsy Cline Historic House for an old-fashioned style block party, staged on the 600 Block of South Kent Street between Monmouth and Germain Streets every year on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, the day celebrates Patsy Cline’s Birthday and contribution to American Culture with live music by local and regional musicians featuring Patsy Cline and Country Music.
Sit back and enjoy the live music while drinking the signature drinks Patsy Cline served up at the counter of Gaunt’s Drugstore! Then take a special $5 tour of the Patsy Cline Historic House and learn how Patsy spent her days as a soda jerk with a special Patsy’s Homegrown Roots exhibit.
Parking: Street Parking is limited; Park & Ride for Free at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center (1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road) and ride the trolley to and from the Block Party. The Trolley will run continuously throughout the day at no charge to riders.

Are you Hungry for History? The Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center is partnering with several historic sites and restaurants throughout Winchester, and Frederick and Clarke County for its 2nd Annual Hungry for History Food Event. The Hungry for History Event explores the food history of museums and historic sites in the area from Saturday, August 24, 2024 – Monday, September 2, 2024, The Patsy Cline Historic House’s Hungry for History Event “Patsy’s Homegrown Roots: Patsy’s Specialty Soda Drinks!” will be held on Saturday, August 31, 10 AM – 4 PM during the 14th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party.
